Start with the work, then the credentials
Describe the appliance and ask what kind of assessment is needed. Confirm the licence or registration relevant to that work with the appropriate state or territory regulator.
A general trade label does not establish authorisation for every gas, electrical or refrigeration task. This website does not verify or recommend individual providers.
Understand the scope before agreeing
Ask whether the visit covers inspection, routine maintenance or a specifically agreed repair. Request an explanation of any call-out or assessment charge and what it includes.
Discuss how additional work will be proposed and approved. A written scope can distinguish known tasks from matters that depend on inspection.
Prepare access responsibly
Let the provider know about stairs, entry arrangements or other ordinary access constraints. If you rent, check the property manager’s reporting and authorisation process.
Do not disconnect, lift or relocate equipment to prepare for a visit unless you have appropriate directions from the responsible qualified person.
Use the journal selectively
Bring a concise summary of the relevant entries. Remove unrelated personal details before exporting or sharing a record from your device.
The journal’s text export is a convenience, not a certified service history. Review it yourself before giving it to anyone.
Ask for the outcome in writing
Keep the actual findings, work completed and follow-up instructions. If a term is unclear, ask the provider to explain it rather than filling the gap with a guess.
The written report remains separate from this website and its general information. Zarevokil does not guarantee the provider’s work or act as a booking intermediary.
